JAPANDROIDS

JAPANDROIDS www.japandroids.com Very hotly tipped Vancouver two-piece, Japandroids have set tongues wagging in North America with some of the most explosive and exciting live shows of 2009. Like a half-way house between The Sonics and Mclusky, Japandroids fuse together l...o-fi production with punk's spittle-flecked velocity. What marks the band out from other guitar/drums duos is their rip-roaring melodies are never compromised by the band’s visceral energy and lo-fi production.

THE MILK

Hotly tipped Essex 4-piece plying a tasty blend of Soul, Rock'n'Roll, Dance, RnB and Pop. The band can count Fun Lovin' Criminal turned 6Music presenter Huey Morgan amongst their growing fanbase. The boys revisited the classic Motown, Stax ...and Trojan Records that had soundtracked their teens, intent on putting on a club night. Instead, they hit a creative breakthrough and formed The Milk.
